Dive Travel Program

At BC Dive Adventures our dive travel program offers dive adventure holidays ranging from Vancouver based day trips to spectacular fly-in get-aways to BC’s northern wilderness.

There are many shipwrecks in BC waters including freighters and naval destroyers that have been scuttled to create artificial reefs. Wreck diver’s from the world over are travelling to British Columbia to experience the spectacular wreck diving and the rich diversity of marine life.

Day Trips from Vancouver

For visitors to the city of Vancouver, our local day trips feature dive sites within 60 kms of our dive centre which is situated in North Vancouver. Tours depart from our office at 10:00am daily. Transportation from our dive centre to the dive site are included.

Types of dives: Wall, reef, wreck.

Cost: $90.00 per person per day.

During the winter months (October 1 to March 31) our dive packages include shore entry dives. Some boat dives are available weather permitting. During the summer months (April 1 to September 30) our dive packages include boat dives. Shore entry dives are available upon request.

Day Trips to Nanaimo from Vancouver

Nanaimo is a small community on Vancouver Island. In 1997 the 110 meter naval destroyer “MV Saskatchewan” was sunk to create an artificial reef. The “MV Saskatchewan” sits upright on its keel, and is fully intact. In the fall of 2001 the 135 meter naval freighter “Cape Breton” will be scuttled near the wreck of the Saskatchewan. Sailing time to Nanaimo from Vancouver is 90 minutes onboard BC Ferries, making day trips to Nanaimo from Vancouver possible.

Cost: $90.00 per person per day.

Includes: two dives, tanks and weights
Boat dives available year round
Does not include transfers or ferry fees
Extended trips to Nanaimo available on request.

Port Hardy, BC

Live Aboard Tours
Live-aboard tours onboard our 65-foot dive boat commence in Port Hardy, the gateway to BC Northern Wilderness.

Cost: $210.00 per person per day.
Includes: all meals and accommodations longoard, 2-3 dives per day, tanks, and weights.

Floating Dive Lodge Adventures
Visit our floating dive lodge in BC’s northern wilderness. Seaplane flights to the lodge depart from Port Hardy. Perfect for those that wish to explore the northern wilderness withough doing a live aboard.

Quadra Island, BC

A secluded island in the Straight of Georgia. Marine life here is prolific, featuring giant tube worms, soft corals, wolf eels, sponge, and the wreck of 110 meter destroyer “MV Columbia”.

Dive sites include Seymour Narrows, Whisky Point, Steep Island, Copper Cliffs, etc. Dive Lodge style accommodations, semi private rooms (2-3 people per room) with double and single beds, shared restrooms and showers.

Cost: $160.00 per day per person (minimum package two days)

Includes: two dives per day, tanks, weights, 3 meals per day, accommodations, and one shore entry night dive per package.
